The Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi under the aegis of Deptt. of Culture, Govt. of Odisha organised Loknatya Mahotsav (Folk Theatre Festival) from 4th to 7th July,2015 at Bhanja Kala Mandap, Bhubaneswar. This function innaugurated by Sri Puspendra Singh Deo, Hon’ble Minister, Housing & Urban Development, Odisha, Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, I.A.S, Deptt. of Tourism & Culture, Govt. of Odisha, Sri Ranjit Mohanty, O.A.S (SAG), Director & Addl. Secretary to Govt., Deptt. of Culture, Govt. of Odisha, Sri Ramhari Das, Vice-President, Sri Dhirendranath Mallick, Secretary, Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi, Bhubaneswar. In this connection the festival showcases some rare and dying Folk theatres of Odisha like Prahallad Natak, Mughal Tamsha, Rama Leela and Danda Nata.

“JAYA JAGANNATH” on the occasion of NABAKALEBARA the programme of Music, Dance & Drama from 20th to 24th July,2015 at Annapurna Theatre, Puri

The Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi, Bhubaneswar under the aegis of Deptt. of Culture, Govt. of Odisha in collaboration with District Council of Culture, Puri organised the “JAYA JAGANNATH” NABAKALEBARA Programme from 20th to 24th July,2015 at Annapurna Theatre, Puri. On 20.07.2015 in the evening the function innaugurated by Hon’ble M.L.A, Odisha & Chairman, Nabakalebara Infrastructure Development Committee, Puri Sri Maheswar Mohanty, Hon’ble guest President, Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi Smt. Trupti Das, Secretary Sri Dhirendranath Mallick, on 21.07.2014 the Chief guest Zilla Parisadm Puri Sri Dibakar Patra, Hon’ble guest eminent Social Worker, Puri Kumar Haldar, on 22.07.2015 the Chief guest, A.D.M., Puri Sri Udhab Chandra Majhee, Hon’ble guest Sub-Collector, Puri Sri Madhusudan Dash, 23.07.2014 the Chief guest Chairman, Puri Municipality, Puri Sri Jayant Kumar Sarangi, Hon’ble guest eminent Theatre Personality, Puri Sri Rama Chandra Pratihari, and on 24.07.2014 the Chief guest Chief guest Hon’ble Minister, Tourism & Culture, Odisha Sri Ashok Chandra Panda, Project Director, District Rural Agency, Puri Sri Pradipta Kishore Satapathy, Hon’ble guest eminent Social Worker, Puri Sri Narayan Patra have been presented in the function. In this connection the eminent Singers, Dance Groups & Theatre Groups of Odisha participated in the said programme. They were - Singers : Mohaprasad Kar, Arjun Samal, Biswanath Pujapanda, Harapriya Swain, Manmath Mishra, Pratimarani Panda, Subas Das, Chandramani Lenka, Dibakar Mohanty and Mohapatra Minati Bhanja.

Dance Groups : Gopal Das Memorial Cultural organisation, Kendrapara, Kalavikash kendra Cuttack, Rupashree Kalamandira, Puri, Nritya Natraj Dance Academy, Bhubaneswar & Soor Mandir, Cuttack.

Theatre Groups : Annapurna Theatre ‘A’ Group, Puri, Satabdira Kalakar, Bhubaneswar, Panchamveda, Bhubaneswar, Chatana Sanskrutik Sansad, Puri and Rangashala, Puri.

PASCHIMA NATYA MAHOTSAV from 26th to 30th July,2015 at Bhanja Kala Mandap, Bhubaneswar :

Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi under the aegis of Deptt. of Culture, Govt. of Odisha organised Paschima Natya Utsav from 26th to 30th July,2015 at Bhanja Kala Mandap, Bhubaneswar. This function innaugurated by Hon’ble Minister, Tourism & Culture, Odisha Sri Ashok Chandra Panda, Director & Addl. Secretary to Govt., Deptt. of Culture, Govt. of Odisha Sri Ranjit Mohanty, Secretary, Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi, Bhubaneswar Sri Dhirendranath Mallick. On 27.07.2015 the Chief guest President, Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi, Bhubaneswar Smt. Trupti Das and eminent Play Director Sri Asim Basu presented in the function. In this connection five eminent play groups i.e. 26.07.2015: “Dandua” - Swara, Sambalpur, 27.07.2015 : “Marubhumi” - Aadim, Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi. But after two days it postponed due to death of Dr. A. B. Kalam, the Ex-President of India, the theatre institute of the festival of Paschima Natya Mahotsav were presented their play on 04.10.2015 : “Man” - Nabjeeban, Sundargarh, 05.10.2015: “Aljhat” -Samaleswari Sangha, Baragarh and 06.10.2015 : “Rakat” -Kaladham Art Institute, Bolangir, were presented their plays.

“BHARATIYAM” a patriotic song on 15th August,2015 at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar :

Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi under the aegis of Deptt. of Culture, Govt. of Odisha organised the “BHARATIYAM”, a patriotic song on 15th August,2015 at 6.30 P.M at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar. This was for the third time Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi had taken such attempt to sensitize students, Youth and the public for love to our Motherland. Sj. Ashok Chandra Panda, Hon’ble Minister, Tourism & Culture, Odisha grace the occasion as Chief guest, Sj. Bijaya Kumar Mohanty, Hon’ble M.L.A, Central (Madhya), Bhubaneswar. Sj. “MEGHA UTSAV” from 24th to 26th August,2015 at Civic Centre, Rourkela :

Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi under the aegis of Deptt. of Culture, Govt. of Odisha in collaboration with Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela in association with District Council of Culture, Sunargarh organised the “MEGHA UTSAV” from 23rd to 26th August,2015 at Civic Centre, Rourkela. This function innaugurated by Sj. Ashok Chandra Panda, Hon’ble Minister, Tourism & Culture, Odisha, other dignitaries as Hon’ble Guest Sj. Dhirendranath Mallick, Secretary, Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi, Bhubaneswar were presented in the function. In this connection the following both classical & folk troupes were participated by the eminent Artists & Institutions.

Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi under the aegis of Deptt. of Culture, Govt.of Odisha in collaboration with Bhakti Sangeet Sansad, Paralakhemundi organised Kabi Gopal Krushna Smruti Sandhya on 8th September,2015 at Twon Hall, Paralakhemundi, Gajapati. The function inaugurated by Hon’ble M.L.A., Paralakhemundi, K. Surya Rao, Smt. Manasi Nimbhal, I.A.S, Collector, Gajapati as Chief guest, Prof. Dr. Kanhu Ch. Padhee as Chief Speaker, Sri Basant Dash, President, Bhakti Sangeet Sansad, Paralakhemundi as President attended in the function. In this connection the Bhakti Sangeet Sansad, Paralakhemundi presented Kabi Gopal Krushna’s Bhakti Sangeet songs.

This function innaugurated by Hon’ble Minister, Tourism & Culture, Odisha Sri Ashok Chandra Panda and as Hon’ble Guest on the function Sj M. T. Krishnababu, IA.S, Chairman, Paradip Port Trust, Paradip, Sj. Manoranjan Panigrahi, I.R.S, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Deptt. of Culture, Odisha, Sj. N. Vayapuri, Deputy Chairman, Paradip Port Trust, Paradip, Sj. S. K. Sahoo, Financial Adviser & Chief Accounts Officer, Paradip Port Trust, Paradip, Sj. Ranjit Kumar Mohanty, Director & Addl.
